Forex Software

Trading Platforms
Forex trading platforms provide their users with the capability of accessing and managing their trading account held with a broker and executing foreign exchange transactions.

Charting Programs
Forex charting programs are used by currency traders to perform technical analysis of the forex market. Such programs typically plot the historical exchange rate or trading volume observed over a chosen time period and. They also usually allow traders to draw trend lines, calculate Fibonacci retracements levels and add technical indicators like Moving Averages, the Relative Strength Index or RSI, the Average Directional Index or ADX, and the Stochastics Oscillator. Chart Pattern-Recognition Programs
Such programs generally identify potential chart patterns forming in the various currency pairs under analysis. They might recognize classic chart patterns like triangles, flags, pennants, double tops and bottoms, and head and shoulders tops and bottoms. Alternatively, they might count waves and recognize correction types based on Elliott Wave Theory.

Automated Trading
Automated or algorithmic trading currency accounts for more than a quarter of forex trading. Once the domain of the biggest banks and funds, such systems have now become available to the personal forex trader either as the ability to program a trading platform to operate automatically using its proprietary language, or as an off-the-shelf commercial software package. The latter type is commonly referred to as a forex trading robot, and as the name implies, they trade automatically without human intervention.

Trade Signal Generators
Trade signal generators are programs that analyze the forex market’s price and volume data in order to generate trading signals based upon its observations and programmed trading rules. Traders might use such a signal generator to monitor the market for them and alert them to possible trading opportunities, while still reserving discretion as to whether or not to trading based on the signals the system generates.

Trading Methods or Systems
Some current or former traders sell products that contain the details about one or more trading methods they recommend. New traders can often use or learn from these systems to give them a better chance of being profitable while they are starting out trading forex.

Delphi Scalper: Inside The Members Area

When I received my log in details I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but after logging in my first impressions were pretty good. There are four main sections to the members area; Getting Started, Indicators, Training Modules and Bonuses.

But there were two things that impressed me; the first was the amount of video tutorial, which I was not expecting, and the second was the fact that they had created one mode for beginners and one for advanced traders.

This meant that you could attack the system in a different way depending on your level of experience.

But let’s take a closer look at the content, after all this will decide whether or not Delphi Scalper really is worth buying.

At this point there has already been a huge amount of information provided and I can’t help but feel that someone who is new to Forex might find this a little bit overwhelming.

However, as I mentioned above the idea is not to absorb the information before you get started, the majority of it, is only there as a form of support. You will need to refer to it at times but not until you are trading.

Delphi Scalper: My Conclusion

I believe that Delphi Scalper is a good solid buy and while there is quite a lot of content, including a certain amount of fluff and thing that don’t belong, in my opinion.

But on the other hand if you are able to follow the videos and take action you could make a killing and it could happen pretty quick.

But It’s Not All Good

The results that I have so far seen I am certainly happy with, but I’m not sure if this is something that a beginner can just pick up and run with if they are starting from square one.

Yes if you have some experience of trading then you will be able to get started straight away but beginners may need a little more background information to help shorten the learning curve and build a basic knowledge quickly.

Making money through Forex trading has never been more popular, or as easily accessible as it is today and with many people looking for work from home opportunities, Forex is a popular choice.

But why have we seen such an increase in the number of people giving it a go? If you don’t know much about it, it can seem complicated but is it really possible to make a lot of money with little or no experience?

What’s more, is StealPips able to help traders successfully trader the Forex market? It’s creators certainly think so, but with so many robots being released each month that all claim to make money on autopilot it can be difficult to tell.

In fact, there are so many questions to ask, but you can be sure that you will have all the answers you need by the time you finish reading my StealPips review.

Having been trading the Forex market for a few years now I have seen hundreds and hundreds of trading robots come and go and while they all claim to be the one click solution the reality is the most of them are a total con.

It is very easy to fall for the outlandish claims made by the product owners but, having had my fingers burnt on many occasions, I can tell you that very few of the robots released to the market will offer you any kind of long term success.

The first few robots I tried worked for a few weeks then, as market conditions started to change, my profits disappeared and I was running at a loss. Desperate to get my money back I tried another robot only to see the same trend.

All this trial and error cost me a lot of money and stress, but what really annoyed me was that I was reading loads of success stories about people making huge sums of money and this made me determined to make it work.

In the end I did and I am extremely thankful that I stuck with it as I am now fortunate enough to work for myself, when and where I want to. If you are new to trading or are yet to taste success then my advice is to stick with it.

People don’t fail in Forex, they simply give up before the magic happens!

So is StealPips any different to the majority of crappy robots on the market? I must admit that Matt Delen, man behind the system, was a total unknown to me, but I was interested in the way he designed his robot.

“Our Robot Isn’t Illegal…It Just Performs Like It is!”

This is a statement made by Matt and refers to the way his system “steals” pips. Of course, it doesn’t really steal them but he believes that he has found a reason why many robots fail.

He believes he discovered that it wasn’t always the fault of the robot but it was actually the brokers manipulating trades to pocket the profit themselves. The brokers are no fools and know exactly how robots work and in his own words “it was as though I was playing poker with all my cards showing”.

The thought of this grabbed my attention immediately and I needed to know if Matt had stumbled upon something big. Had he found a solution and if so could he actually do anything about it?

StealPips: What Do You Get?

The StealPips system is delivered through a download link, much like any online software purchase. The file that you download is a zip file and all you need to do to install the system is unzip the folder and follow the onscreen instructions.

There is a manual included that takes you through every stage of the set up, so this process should take no longer than ten minutes, even for the beginner.

When you go in to the software you will see the default parameter setting, which you are advised against changing. I would definitely suggest that you follow this advice if you are a beginner or new to trading.

For those traders who have a good level of experience and may want to change the settings, you can do this very easily. The meanings of the parameters are highlighted in the user guide and includes stuff like:

StealPips only works on the USD/CAD currency pair on a 4 hour timeframe and has been designed to recognize trade opportunities not only during a trend but also during technical corrections.

Does the single currency pair limit StealPips ability to make money?

StealPips: The Results

During the testing process the average profit was around 75 pips and the average stop loss was around 65 pips, so judging by this you should get lots of pips. But the question with any robot, and where most fail, is can it continue to perform as market conditions change?

To overcome this problem Matt and his development team will work on monthly updates that aim to keep StealPips performing no matter what happens to the market.

This is obviously not a guarantee that it will perform over a long period of time, but the fact that Matt is offering updates is certainly a good sign.

I would never advise anyone to use a robot that does not include free updates. A robot is programmed to make winning trades under certain market conditions and the majority fail becuase they do not change with the market. Considering how volatile the Forex market is, using a robot that is out of date is nothing short of financial suicide.

Here comes the legal bit…

What I am allowed to say is that in the time that I have been using StealPips I have made a profit on my $1,000 investment and I will definitely continue to use the system over the coming months.

I always advise that you initially set up a demo so you can see the system trading without risking your own money. I do this with every new system I try so strongly suggest that you do too no matter what software you are using.

The download and install process is very easy to follow and while it does come with installation instructions they are not really required. You simply need to follow the on screen prompts and you will be set up within minutes.

The Forex Brilliance system is being pitched as a ‘plug and play’ solution to successful Forex trading. The aim is not only to help traders who have no trading experience, but also those who want to spend less time glued to their computer screens and more time enjoying life with family and friends.

The system itself comprises of 4 separate robots that are individually programmed to trade effectively on 4 of the most popular currency pairs, which are: USD/JPY, GBP/USD, EUR/USD and USD/CHF.

The theory behind this is obvious, if the robot is set up to trade a specific way to suit the currency pair, you stand a better chance of winning. The downside is that you are limited to only trading these 4 pairs, but they are some of the most popular so there is certainly money there to be made.

Anyone who has attempted to trade Forex will know that you cannot win every trade you make, it’s impossible. The aim is always to win more than you lose, but understanding that you will lose is a vital part of successful trading.

The most successful traders know how to minimise their losses and squeeze as much profit out of their winning trades as they can. This is achieved by a good risk management strategy and knowing when the time is right to get out of a trade.

Forex Brilliance: Results

So how does Forex Brilliance perform when trading with a live account? Does it offer an easier ride for traders?

I have been using the Forex Brilliance robot for about 3 weeks now and the results I have seen so far are certainly encouraging and I will be delighted if the software continues to perform like it is at the moment.

I am no longer allowed to publish my exact results here on my website as it’s possible that I could be fined up to $10,000 by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Last December they passed a new rule to stop people doing so, as they don’t feel it is fair on you guys.

Why? Their reasoning is because the results achieved by any individual will almost certainly definitely differ from results that you might achieve if you were to use the software. The performance of a Forex robot will depend on many factors; two of the most important factors are investment and market conditions.

If I were to transfer $15,000 into my trading account then it is fair to say that I will probably see a higher return than someone who only invests $200. Therefore my results may not be typical results if the majority of people do not have $15,000 to invest. As it is I didn’t invest anywhere near that level of capital, but you get the point.

The other major factor is the market condition; the Forex market can be extremely volatile, so what has happened during the last 3 weeks may be totally different from what happens in the next 3 weeks, so for these reasons, among others, the FTC believe that it can be misleading.

What I can say, is that I am seeing a return on my $1,000 investment and hope for this to continue through the coming weeks and months. I will be updating this page each week, so if you are interested in my progress do bookmark this page and come back to find out.

“There Is One Problem With
Forex Brilliance Though”

Well actually there are two!

First of all, the price of the software is more than you would expect from a robot. They are usually priced between $97 and $197, so you would expect something pretty special for the price they are asking.

When I asked Bryan why they had decided on this price he told me that it was because you are effectively getting 4 different robots optimized for 4 different currency pairs and most robots are generically optimised to trade on many different currency pairs, making them less effective.

The other problem I see is that the results that are being shown on the Forex Brilliance website, such as those shown in the image below, are all achieved with a significant investment of $10,000. Now I’m guessing that most people don’t have that sort of money to play around with.

So does this mean that Forex Brilliance is a waste of time and money or not?

My Conclusion

From what I have experienced so far I think that Forex Brilliance is a good solid robot that does have the ability to make winning trades on autopilot. I have been pleased with the results I am seeing and feel confident that this trend will continue.

Of course the level of return achieved will very much depend on market conditions, but so far so good. I have decided that I will leave any profit I make in my account, to give me a larger capital investment and therefore increase my potential return. This is something I suggest for anyone who has less than $5,000 to invest.
